The 435th CRG is made up of 29 Air Force Specialty Codes including loadmasters and aircrew support staff. The group has deployed approximately 80 Airmen to set up initial life support and operation facilities for the bed-down of U.S. Air Forces Central Command’s personnel recovery forces supporting Operation Inherent Resolve. Senior Airman Dustin Dixon, 435th Contingency Response Squadron loadmaster, oversees the offload from a C-130J Super Hercules Sept. 15 at Diyarbakir Air Base, Turkey. The equipment delivery is in support of the 435th CRG’s build up of U.S. Air Forces Central Command’s personnel recovery deployment site and facilities at DAB. The CRG serves as U.S. Air Forces in Europe and Air Forces Africa’s only expeditionary open-the-base force.
