86 AW Installation Excellence Day winners recognized

Installation Excellence Day is a one day, tri-annual event, in which 86th AW units and other Ramstein agencies participate to maintain a clean and professional work environment. Nominees were judged by an Installation Excellence panel on facility cleanliness, content of a social media post showcasing their facility, and demonstration of esprit de corps.

Tenant units and 86th AW groups across the installation competed for first place and runner-up prizes awarded to the cleanest and best-maintained facilities.

U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. Dwight, a facility manager, accepted the award on behalf of the 435th Contingency Response Group for having the best looking tenant unit facilities. The 86th AW commander selected Installation Excellence Day winners from a list of finalists demonstrating the highest standards of facility appearance, maintenance and esprit de corps.
