The Kaiserslautern Civilian Personnel Advisory Center
has announced the

Civilian Human Resources Agency European Region has a new National Security Personnel System transition-out page available at http://cpolrhp.belvoir.army.mil/eur/transout/index.htm. This Web site has a link to the Government Service 101 Training course in the upper-right corner. The direct link is www.cpms.osd.mil/nsps/gs101/index.htm. The training is for all employees having questions about the GS system. This course provides a training certificate, which employees can send to hrd.ed@eur.army.mil to get the training credited to their personnel records.

Spouse Tuition Assistance Program (Gen. George S. Brown Scholarship) applications are due by 4 p.m. Feb. 19 for Term IV (classes are March 21 to May 29). Eligibility for STAP starts with MyCAA program application. Visit www.militaryonesource.com and apply for MyCAA. Attach eligibility for MyCAA to STAP application before turning in to Ramstein Education Center, Bldg. 2120, fourth floor, Room 421.




An Air Force commissioning briefing
takes place at 3 p.m. Feb. 23 in Bldg. 2104, Room 100. Commissioning briefings are always held the fourth Tuesday of each month. Appointments are not required. Call 480-2308 for details.




Looking for training space?
The joint Multinational Training Command’s Digital Training Facility has classrooms equipped with 16 multi-media computer workstations and are linked worldwide via video teletraining. Walk-in individual self-development is also available. The DTF is located in Bldg. 2874B on Pulaski Barracks. For more information, call 493-4606 or 0631-3406-4606.




The New Parent Support Program will host car seat safety inspections

Feb. 23 and March 16. Parents can learn how to safely transport children and use the appropriate child safety seat or safety belt correctly. Certified CPS instructors will  provide one-on-one tutorial instructions. Registration is required. Space is limited. Call 06371-46-2098.

An infant massage class will take place once a week for three weeks on Wednesday, Feb. 24 and March 24. Babies must be over 6 weeks and not yet crawling. Space is limited. To register, call 06371-46-2098.

The Kaiserslautern Transition Center hosts a pre-separation briefing from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. March 2 in Bldg. 3245 on Kleber Kaserne. Soldiers are required to take this presentation at least 90 days prior to separating (not retiring) from the Army. This briefing informs Soldiers about the process required to separate from the Army. U.S. Army Garrison Kaiserslautern’s Army Community Service Information and Referral Program hosts a Community Information Forum at 1 p.m. March 3 at Armstrong’s Club. The forum is a monthly outline that provides information on various programs, agencies and organizations within the KMC. It is open to the entire community. The Kaiserslautern Transition Center hosts a pre-retirement briefing from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. May 13 in Bldg. 3245 on Kleber Kaserne. At least once prior to retirement, Soldiers and their family members should attend this briefing. To register, call 483-7071 or 0631-3406-7071.

The American Red Cross on Ramstein will be conducting an introduction to International Humanitarian Law from 8 a.m. to noon today. The course will inform about the Geneva Convention and International Humanitarian Law. The course is free, but pre-registration is required.
