USAG Rheinland-Pfalz Family and MWR Community Expo

The USAG Rheinland-Pfalz Family and MWR are hosting a Community Expo Aug. 9 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Family and MWR Special Events Center, Bldg. 237 on Rhine Ordnance Barracks. This event, open to the Kaiserslautern Military Community, will ensure that community members can engage with each agency and gain a comprehensive understanding of the resources available to them while becoming more acquainted with the local area and what it has to offer.  Local businesses will offer information, prizes will be available to win, and food and beverages will be available for purchase. Covering the Bases Comedy Show

John McCombs set to headline the Covering the Bases Comedy Show Aug. 23 from 8 to 10 p.m. at the Kazabra Club, Bldg. 2057 on Vogelweh. The show will also feature Nya Yeanafehn and Miky Burch. Doors open at 7 p.m., tickets are $12 at the door.  Local Comedian Erin Crouch will host the show. Army Community Service Job Fair

The USAG Rheinland-Pfalz Army Community Service is hosting a Job Fair Sep. 19 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Kazabra Club, Bldg. 2057 on Vogelweh.  This is a job fair where ID card holders will be able to network with more than 25 Government Agencies and Contractors with positions to fill, such as AAFES, DeCA, Stars and Stripes and many more. Lanakila’s Polynesian Dance Performance

Say Aloha to summer with the Armed Forces Entertainment’s Lanakilas Polynesian Show Tuesday, Sep. 3, starting at 7 p.m. with doors opening at 6 p.m. at Rheinlander Community Club, Bldg. 8085 on Smith Barracks in Baumholder. Theatre Tech Boot Camp

The award-winning KMC Onstage is hosting Theatre Tech Boot Camp for ages 14 and older Sep. 14 and 15  9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the KMC Onstage Main Stage, Bldg. 3232 on Kleber Kaserne.  Attendees will learn all about what happens backstage and behind the scenes in four sessions: Cost is $15 per session or save $10 by getting all four sessions for $50. How to Audition Kids Workshop

Tournament of Tiny Plays Performances

The Award-Winning KMC Onstage presents the Tournament of Tiny Plays performances Sep. 27 to 29, and Oct. 4 to 6 at KMC Onstage Mainstage, Bldg. 3232 on Kleber Kaserne.  Shows are 7 p.m. Friday, 2 p.m. and 7 p.am Saturday, and 2 p.m. Sunday. Baumholder Fall Start Smart

Baumholder Fall Start Smart registration for ages 3 to 4, is now to Aug. 18.  Sports offered are soccer, T-ball, and flag football. Start Smart is a Child/Parent interactive program led by a CYS Sports & Fitness Specialist. Cost is $30. Baumholder Fall Sports Season

Registration for fall youth sports for the Baumholder community is now to Aug. 18.  Sports offered are: soccer, ages 5-15, $65; Flag Football, Ages 7-11, $65; cheerleading, ages 5-15, $65; and, swimming clinic, ages 3-15, $55. Sports Physicals/ Health Assessments must be on file and valid to Nov. 9 to participate. KMC Onstage Tournament of Plays Auditions

The Award-Winning KMC Onstage announces auditions for the Tournament of Tiny Plays on Aug. 19 and 20 at 7 p.m. at the at the KMC Onstage, Bldg. 3232 on Kleber Kaserne.  Auditions are open to all ages, and auditioners will be reading from scripts. KMC Onstage Beauty and the Beast Jr Auditions

The Award-Winning KMC Onstage announces the Beauty and the Beast Jr Fall Youth Performance Class auditions on Aug. 26 and 27 at 4:30 p.m. at the KMC Onstage Studio, inside the Kaiserslautern Community Activity Center, Bldg. 3109 on Daenner Kaserne. Kaiserslautern Weekly Bike Rides

Kaiserslautern Outdoor Recreation is offering “Got a case of the Monday’s…Come ride it out with us!” weekly bike rides every Monday until Aug. 31 from 5 to 7 p.m. throughout multiple trails, ranging from 10KM to 25KM. Trip departs and returns at Kaiserslautern Outdoor Recreation, Bldg. 2905 on Pulaski Barracks. Cost is $5 to rent a standard bike or $10 for an E-Bike.  If you are registered for the IMCOM Bike Challenge, this ride is a great opportunity to earn miles/kms towards your 1000KM! IMCOM-Europe Cycling Challenge

The 2023 IMCOM Europe Cycling Challenge is happening until Aug. 31. Participants must sign up through Baumholder or Kaiserslautern Outdoor Recreation. Registration fee is $50. SKIES Soccer Summer Camps

SKIES Unlimited is offering Soccer Summer Camps for youth ages 3 to 16 from now to  Aug.14 at the Pulaski Field and Landstuhl Adult Softball Field.  Registration is now open to all ID card holders from all branches of service. All participants must be registered with Army MWR Child and Youth Services. Kaiserslautern’s End of Summer Car Show Registration

Registration for the Kaiserslautern’s End of Summer Car Show is Aug. 1 to Sep. 14. Cost is $10 per vehicle. The car show is Sep. 14 from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., at the Pulaski Automotive Skills Center’s parking lot in front of building 2859 on Pulaski Barracks. Landstuhl Library Programs Paused in August

The Landstuhl Library Program will be pausing their programing during the month of August so they can plan programing for the coming fiscal year. Baumholder Fitness Center Zumba Class

The USAG Rheinland-Pfalz Fitness, Athletics and Aquatics Team announces free Zumba classes every Wednesday from 6 to 6:45 p.m. at the Mountaineer Physical Fitness Center, Bldg. 8220 on Smith Barracks in Baumholder. Find out more on baumholder.armymwr.com.

Red Pin Bowling

Red Pin Bowling happens every Friday from 4 to 10 p.m. at the Strikers Bowling Center, Bldg. 8105 on Smith Barracks in Baumholder. Bowlers who make a strike while the head pin is red, will receive a free game coupon. The red pin will be randomly placed as the head pin. For more information, visit baumholder.armymwr.com.

Bring Your Own Board Game at Strikers Bowling Center

The Pinsetters’ Pub has Bring Your Own Board Game every Friday at 5 p.m. until closing. This is a free event and preregistration is not required. All gamers, 18 and older, are welcome. Food is available at Shawingz until 9 p.m. There are large and small tables provided for game play, and fabulous music to provide the right atmosphere for playing. Full Nerd Friday

The time has come for “Revenge of the Nerds” every Friday from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Baumholder Warrior Zone, Bldg. 8218 on Smith Barracks.
