Mission ready
What does mission ready actually mean? As a member of the U.S. Air Force, you are directed to maintain the highest level of personal readiness.
So, what does that entail? First, you have to be technically ready. This can be accomplished by retaining the proper skill level and earning a Community College of the Air Force degree. Second, you have to be physically ready.
Not only should you pass your fitness assessment, but you should always strive to maintain excellent physical conditioning. Third, you have to be mentally ready.
You need to be alert to negative changes in your mental welfare, as well as changes in your co-workers’ welfare. And, finally, you have to be prepared for all deployments. In order to do this, you have to be technically, physically and mentally ready. See the connection?
