Shop owners offering free “Nette Toiletten” (no-fee toilets) in downtown Kaiserslautern

Just imagine, you’re just in the middle of a fun shopping tour in downtown Kaiserslautern when you or your kid suddenly feel the need for an urgent bathroom run… Don’t worry, there’s a clean and free toilet nearby! Just watch out for shops who have put a “Nette Toilette” (literally, friendly toilet) sticker on their door and rush in.

Shop owners who make their facilities available for non-customers, do it as a courtesy towards all city shoppers. And just like a friendly smile, it comes with no cost at all!

Little icons below the friendly red sticker also indicate whether facilities for both ladies and gentlemen are offered, whether there is an easy access or a changing table.
