CENTRAL PARK BAND — A TRIBUTE TO SIMON & GARFUNKEL

DEC. 21, 8 P.M., FRUCHTHALLE, KAISERSLAUTERN

35 years ago, on September 19, 1981, the sensation was perfect. The Simon & Garfunkel reunion concert in Central Park in New York. It was intended to set an example for the preservation of the park and became one of the biggest concerts of all times with around 500,000 spectators. The Central Park Band has been bringing unforgettable songs of this evening and the feeling of that time to the stage for 25 years: Sounds Of Silence, The Boxer, Mrs. Robinson, Bridge Over Troubled Water, Scarborough Fair…

A NIGHT OF QUEEN BY THE BOHEMIANS

In their show “A Night Of Queen”, the internationally renowned Queen tribute show “The Bohemians” takes the audience on an energetic rollercoaster ride with the great hits of the world’s most popular and iconic rock act of all time, Queen. The British quartet led by charismatic frontman Freddy Mercury, who died far too young, recorded so many fabulous catchy tunes. Please set the Christmas trees without decoration on the curb before 6 a.m. on collection day (not on private area). Trees can also be brought to the organic collection points. KAISERSLAUTERN ON ICE

JAN. 24 – MARCH 9, MESSEPLATZ, KAISERSLAUTERN

Ice skating fans can look forward to January, when the ice rink on the Messeplatz will open its doors again. There will be 600 m² of ice available, special events for kids, and food and drink for onlookers. The ice rink will also be built on the grass area, which will minimize noise pollution. Time to turn pirouettes!
