Family & MWR Newcomer’s Scavenger Challenge
The USAG Rheinland-Pfalz Family & MWR is hosting a Newcomer’s Scavenger Challenge for the Baumholder Military Community. Participants will receive a special passport listing all the programs, and can collect stamps at each facility visited to participate with a chance to win a $150 MWR Gift Card. Free Dance Lessons at Armstrong’s Club
New open session of free dance lessons every Wednesday from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Focus is on Country Two Step, Swing and Line Dance. Ten other styles also available upon request. No experience necessary. Classes will start up again Jan. 8. Wear smooth bottomed shoes. Rubber soled athletic shoes are not ideal for dancing. No other requirements. Staged Reading: “The Mountaintop”
The Award-Winning KMC Onstage is proud to present three staged readings of Katori Hall’s play, “The Mountaintop,” in honor of the Birthday of Martin Luther King, Jr. and Black History Month. This powerful play imagines a fictional conversation between Dr. King and a hotel maid the night before his assassination, directed and read by members of the KMC Black Community. Country Night
Country Night happens every Saturday from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. at the Kazabra Club, Bldg. 2057 on Vogelweh. This is an 18+ event. Country night is an unforgettable evening filled with country music, dancing and fun. Cowboys and cowgirls can test their rodeo skills on the club’s mechanical bull, Otis. Winter Chai Specials happening at Baumholder, Landstuhl and Rhine Ordnance Barracks Java Cafés now to April 10. Winter Chai specials include Iced Chai Tea with Oat Latte and Chai Tea with Oat Latte. Valentine’s Day Celebration Dinner at the Armstrong’s Club
Celebrate Valentine’s Day with that “certain someone special” in the grand atmosphere of the Chandelier Ballroom Feb. 14 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Armstrong’s Club, Bldg. 1036 on Vogelweh Housing. Cost is 45 Euros per person. Live Music will add to the grand atmosphere. Reservations can be made until Feb. 12. Armstrong’s Club announces freshly smoked Brisket & Ribs pickup and takeout service starting Jan. 10. Palentine’s Day Brunch

Big Game Showing at SCAC
Sembach Community Activity Center to show the Big Game Feb. 9 from 12:30 to 4 a.m. in the Presidential Ballroom, inside the SCAC, Bldg. 220 on Sembach Kaserne. Weekly Yoga Classes-Tuesday & Thursday
Two new yoga classes are now available in the Baumholder community. Every Tuesday, 6:30 -7:45 p.m., enjoy Soft & Slow Yoga, and every Thursday, 6:30-7:45 p.m., Yoga Balance. Landstuhl Library Baby Brillance Storytime
Baby Brilliance Storytimes returns in September and will be held every Thursday of the month starting at 11 a.m. at the Landstuhl Library, Bldg. 3810 on Landstuhl Post. This is a fun storytime for ages birth to 18 months with songs, fingerplays and more. Signups are not required. Storytimes will not take place on Federal Holidays. Strikers Bowling Center Duty Bowl & Two for Tuesday
Duty Bowl for service members in uniform is only $5 per hour and per lane every day at the Strikers Bowling Center, Bldg. 8105 on Smith Barracks in Baumholder. All Soldiers “duty” bowling must be in duty uniform. Two for Tuesday special will be $2 per game and $2 shoe rentals from 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. every Tuesday. Dungeons & Dragons at Baumholder Library
Go on adventures with an intrepid crew of heroes with Baumholder Library’s Dungeons & Dragons offered every third Tuesday of the month from 4 to 5 p.m. This is for ages 9 to 14. Players can use their imagination and creativity to build the story and move the game forward. Seats are limited and registration is required.
