18th engineers earn German Armed Forces Badge

German army 1st Lt. Thomas Löwer, the second company commander of the 464th Special Engineer Battalion, awards the Schutzenschnur to Sgt. Rennato Lopez, the maintenance non-commissioned officer for Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 18th Engineer Brigade and a native of Houston, Oct. 7 in Speyer, Germany.

Soldiers from the 21st Theater Sustainment Command’s 18th Eng. Bde. participated in a shooting range Sept. 23 in Speyer with their Bundeswehr partner unit, the 464th Special Eng. Bn., earning the German Armed Forces Badge of Marksmanship for weapons proficiency for enlisted Soldiers.
