Dec. 28

2:29 p.m.: An Airman reported damage to private property on Landstuhl Post after someone cracked the front bumper of her vehicle.

5:08 p.m.: Polizei detained to individuals for suspicion of shoplifting after a local national observed them leaving the property without rendering proper payment.

11:32 p.m.: Police reported a minor traffic accident. Investigation revealed a motorist was driving too fast for road/weather conditions when he lost control of his vehicle and slid into a ditch. Upon contact with the motorist, Polizei detected the odor of alcohol.

Dec. 29

12:09 a.m.: An Army officer reported a larceny of government/private property in Kaiserslautern after an iPhone and a wallet containing bank cards and identification was stolen.

4:01 a.m.: A civilian reported wrongful use and possession of a controlled substance on Kleber Kaserne.

11:40 p.m.: An Airman reported a housebreaking in Landstuhl after someone entered their home and stole three laptops. 

Dec. 30

9:45 a.m.: Polizei reported a minor traffic accident/fleeing the scene after a family member was backing from her driveway in Schönenberg-Kübelberg and struck a brick wall. The motorist  then left the scene without notifying Polizei or BDOC.

9:45 a.m.: An Army officer reported larceny of private property after someone stole his cell phone and wallet.

3:33 p.m.: A family member reported a minor traffic accident/fleeing the scene in Mackenbach after someone in an SUV struck her vehicle, dislodging the driver’s side mirror.

7:55 p.m.: Police reported a verbal altercation in Stairwell Housing on Vogelweh Family Housing. Investigation revealed the subject was operating a USAREUR-plated vehicle on a revoked license.

Dec. 31

12:24 a.m.: A security forces member reported an assault at Armstrong’s Club on Vogelweh Family Housing. An Airman and a warrant officer were involved in a verbal altercation that turned physical when a Soldier attempted to stop the altercation.

1:52 a.m.: A Metro Patrol reported an assault at a club in Kaiserslautern after someone was hit in the face with a closed fist two times and kicked in the face.

2:30 a.m.: Polizei reported an assault at a club in Kaiserslautern after an Airman and a local national were involved in a verbal altercation that turned physical.

2:52 a.m.: A Metro Patrol reported an assault at a bus stop in Kaiserslautern after two Airmen and a local nation were involved in a verbal altercation that turned physical.

Jan. 1

11:43 a.m.: A warrant officer reported damage to private property in Kaiserslautern after an unknown person scratched the driver’s side front door of a vehicle and dislodged the mirror.

2:04 p.m.: An Airman reported damage to private property in Landstuhl after someone shattered her vehicle’s rear window.

7:11 p.m.: Polizei reported an assault in Kaiserslautern after an Airman and a local national were involved in a verbal altercation that turned physical.

Jan. 2

7:06 a.m.: Polizei reported a drunken driver in Kaiserslautern. Polizei stopped the motorist for a routine traffic stop and, upon contact, detected a strong odor of alcohol.

Jan. 3

10:52 a.m.: A family member reported the theft of their front and rear USAREUR license plate in Giessen.

1:15 p.m.: A Soldier reported damage to government property on Landstuhl after an unknown person scratched the passenger’s side door.
