May 3
10:03 a.m.: An Air Force SNCO reported suspicious activity at the Ramstein East Gate. Three unknown individuals were reported to be taking photographs of airplanes. A sweep was done of the area by security forces but nothing was found.

May 4
1:54 a.m.: Polizei reported two drunken Air Force NCOs who were in the sewers.

9:56 p.m.: Polizei reported theft from a secured motor vehicle after investigation revealed an unknown person had shattered the front passenger’s side window of a vehicle and took an iPod. There are no known suspects or witnesses at this time.

May 5
12:48 p.m.: An Air Force NCO was approaching an intersection when he failed to yield and struck a local national’s vehicle. The NCO was transported to LRMC. There were also disabling damages to both vehicles.

May 6
1:11 a.m.: A dependent at Armstrong’s Club exposed herself on the dance floor. When another dependent asked her to pull her dress down, she pulled out a knife and held it to the other dependent’s throat in a threatening gesture.

5:15 p.m.: A dependent’s vehicle struck a local national’s vehicle due to inattentive driving. The local national suffered neck injuries and was treated on the scene. There were minor damages to both vehicles.


May 7
9 p.m.: An Air Force NCO reported a missing child after it was determined the child left his room through the bedroom window.

May 8
1:32 a.m.: Polizei reported damage to private property. Four Soldiers reportedly damaged four vehicles, either breaking off or bending the side mirrors. The Soldiers were advised of their legal rights.

3:17 a.m.: Polizei observed a Soldier’s spouse operating her vehicle in an erratic manner. Upon contact, Polizei detected the odor of alcohol. The spouse was advised of her legal rights.

5 a.m.: Polizei conducted a routine traffic stop on an Air Force NCO’s vehicle and, upon contact, detected the odor of alcohol. The NCO was advised of his legal rights.

May 9
1:54 p.m.: A civilian witnessed an Air Force NCO’s vehicle hit another vehicle in a parking lot, and the NCO left the scene. The NCO was advised of her legal rights.

Barments
» A spouse and Army and Air Force Exchange Service  employee was barred and his job terminated for use of a controlled substance.

» A minor was barred, including access to school, for involvement in an assault at school.

» A spouse was barred for her involvement in larcenies in the Kaiserslautern Military Community Center.

UCMJ Actions
» A squadron commander administered non-judicial punishment under Article 15, Uniform Code of Military Justice, to a technical sergeant for violation of Article 121, wrongful appropriation of a value of more than $500. The commander imposed punishment of suspended reduction to staff sergeant, forfeitures of $750 per month for two months, 21 days extra duty and a reprimand.

» A  squadron commander administered non-judicial punishment under Article 15, UCMJ, to an Airman first class for violation of Article 113, misbehavior of a sentinel. The commander imposed punishment of reduction to Airman basic and a reprimand.

Courts-Martial
Command Sgt. Maj. Gary J. Bronson was convicted May 4 during a general court-martial of one specification of violating Article 92 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice, failure to obey a lawful order or regulation, Article 93, cruelty and maltreatment, and Article 134, adultery.
