The Outbound, Retirements and Separations (Relocations) office has new hours of operations in order to facilitate one-on-one customer attention. Appointments are only from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday to Friday. Walk-in hours are from 1 to 4 p.m. Monday to Thursday, and 1 to 3 p.m. Fridays.
The relocations office services all active-duty Air Force members and processes approximately 2,000 assignments. The new appointment times give customers an appointment, allowing them a more predictable and scheduled time to come to the relocations office for assistance.
Appointments will reduce or eliminate wait time and provide customers with immediate responses from their relocations counselors, down time from their duties and essentially provide more efficient customer service for more than 11,000 AF personnel.
Customers should remember to bring required paperwork, have time with the counselor to review and complete any mistakes on the forms and review orders prior to authenticating. Make sure to have orders generated or issued on the spot (provided AFI requirements are met).
