Ramstein Welfare Bazaar coming soon

One of the most anticipated events of the year is almost here. Sponsored by the Ramstein Officers’ Spouses Club, the 47th annual Ramstein Welfare Bazaar takes place Sept. 15 to 18 in Ramstein’s hangars 1 and 2.

The bazaar is one of the largest of its kind in Europe with more than 130 vendors spanning the globe with fantastic food during four days.

A true shopping extravaganza, the Ramstein Welfare Bazaar features vendors selling spectacular items such as artwork, toys, cheese, jewelry,
furniture, leather goods, home decor and so much more. Where else can you shop the best of Europe in one stop?

And don’t miss the fantastic food! When you tire from shopping, there are culinary delights for all taste buds, refreshing beverages and a place to rest your feet.
Delicious treats and meals will be served by various non-profit organizations from base.

Food vendors’ profits go directly back to their organizations.
One-hundred percent of the proceeds are returned to the military community in the form of scholarships, welfare grants and charitable donations managed by the ROSC Welfare Committee.

Your participation during the bazaar helps the community in so many ways.
To get to the bazaar, follow event signs toward the flightline. Stroller days will be held Sept. 15 and 16. A “Kinder Korner,” or child’s corner, will also be available for parents.

The bazaar will be held form noon to 8 p.m. Sept. 15, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sept. 16 and 17, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 18.

All U.S. and NATO ID cardholders are invited to attend.
