Unit Voting Assistance Officers at all levels and trained voting counselors are contacting military and civilian employees in every KMC Air Force organization. People can leave a message for me, Maj. Q: When should I receive my ballot?
A: Most states and territories begin mailing ballots to citizens 30-45 days before an election. If you have not received your ballot by Oct. 15, contact your Voting Counselor. They will provide you with a Federal Write-In Absentee Ballot. Always execute and return your absentee ballot regardless of when you receive it, even if you’ve already sent a FWAB. Court decisions sometimes require the counting of ballots voted by election day, but received late.
