Armed Forces racquetball tournament hits Ramstein

***image1***Participants from six countries converged on Ramstein recently to take
part in the 2006 U.S. Forces in Europe Racquetball Championships. The
championships were held Saturday at the Ramstein southside and
northside fitness centers and saw participants from Germany, Italy,
Portugal, England, Kosovo and Turkey.

The matches were broken down into three divisions – open division, B
division and C division. Due to the use of two fitness centers and six
courts the tournament was completed in one day. Tech. Sgt. Patrick
Bennett, a representative for USAFE sports, said that the players made
numerous compliments about the quality of the courts and the quality of
the host staff.
