New locations are now open for DOD ID card holders to register into the Installation Access Control System – all card holders, their dependents and retirees are required to register by Jan. 1.
The additional locations for IACS registration are in Bldg. 2402 on Ramstein, open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. during Combat Night Pay; the U.S. Army Europe Vehicle Registration Office on Kapaun Air Station, open 7 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. Monday through Friday. IACS at USAREUR vehicle registration is open 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. the first Wednesday of each month and during Combat Night Pay.
DOD ID card holders may also register into IACS at pass and identification, located on Ramstein in Bldg. 2111; Military Personnel Flight customer service, located on Ramstein in Bldg. 2106 (closed 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. daily); and the Ramstein’s west gate visitor control center.
Registration for NATO personnel and their family members will be conducted only at pass and identification, open 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The Pulaski Barracks IACS office is in Bldg. 2932, Room 101. DOD ID card holders and their families can register 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
DOD ID card holders and their family members can also register at the Kleber Kaserne location in Bldg. 3245, Room 101. The hours of operation are 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, closed 12:30 to 1 p.m.
Registration takes approximately five minutes. A parent or guardian must accompany family members under the age of 18. Military personnel and their family members must have their DOD ID card with them to be processed. The bar code on the card must not be faded. If the bar code cannot be scanned, the MPF will have to issue a new ID card. NATO personnel must be in possession of a U.S. Air Force in Europe Form 174 or completed USAFE Form 278 (application for USAFE privilege card). Dependents of NATO personnel who have their sponsors passport/identity card number listed on the USAFE Form 174 need to be in possession of their Passport/Identity card.
