The 415th Base Support Battalion’s ITT Federal Services won the Department of Public Works Support Contractor of the Year. This award highlights exceptional contractor DPW support with customer satisfaction as one of numerous judging criteria.
The 415th Base Support Battalion won Small Installation of the Year for Energy Efficiency and Energy Management, which is a 26th Annual Secretary of the Army Energy and Water Management award. Members include Bob Ackley, DPW utilities chief; Dieter Haertel, DPW mechanical engineer, and Paul Lindemer, DPW Facilities Engineering Division chief.
In the U.S. Air Forces in Europe command, two individuals from Ramstein won aviation resource management awards. Master Sgt. Jillian E. Looman, Headquarters USAFE, won Outstanding Headquarters Staff Member and Dieter F. Sourisseaux, 86th Operations Support Squadron, won Outstanding Civilian Supervisor.
