Baby Think It Over

***image1***Jane Yocum, Ramstein American Middle School family and consumer science teacher, assists seventh-grader Christian Snider with an electronic doll which he had to “baby-sit” for 48 hours. Ms. Yocum’s students participated in the Baby Think It Over program, which teaches basic child care responsibilities. The dolls cry for various reasons, and contain computer chips which record whether or not the students responded appropriately during their weekend as a “parent.”
