Ramstein Airmen plead guilty in Ecstasy charges

Two Ramstein Airmen faced courts-martial on charges relating to the use of Ecstasy.

Airman Carly R. Boe, 435th Dental Squadron, was found guilty June 7 of violation of the Uniform Code Military of Justice Article 112a. Specifically, she was accused of wrongful use of Ecstasy between Jan. 1 and Feb. 28, 2004.

Airman Boe pleaded guilty and received a sentence of reduction to E-1, forfeiture of $300 pay per month for 12 months, hard labor without confinement for three months and restriction to Ramstein for two months.

Senior Airman John A. Agan II, 435th Medical Support Squadron, was found guilty June 8 of violation of the UCMJ Article 112a. He was accused of wrongful use of Ecstasy between Sept. 1, 2004, and Jan. 31.

Airman Agan pled guilty and received a reduction to E-2, forfeiture of $500 pay per month for three months and 25 days confinement.

The two courts-martial were connected because the two Airmen had used Ecstasy together on one occasion.

Both investigations were conducted by the Air Force Office of Special Investigations.
