The community of Mittelbrunn celebrates their 11th annual “Schnapsbrennerfest,” schnapps burning fest today through Sunday.
Festivities start with an Oldie Night at 9 p.m. today. The band Mindless performs on a stage near Bürgerhaus.
People can get refreshments from the Jugendtreff, youth point, next to it.
The fest officially opens at 7:30 p.m. Saturday. First, the Alp Horn-blower Trio Mittelbrunn and Hunting-horn Brass Group Bann provide musical entertainment.
The Allrounders start their show at 9 p.m. A disco is set up for those who like to dance.
Sunday starts with a traditional “Früh-
schoppen,” early morning beer, with music by the St. Martin music association from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The program continues with show presentations by the ensemble Altair and a ballet performance by a local group.
Children can participate in several activities throughout the afternoon.
An oldtimer vehicle show at 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. features old vehicles.
Single performer Karl Althoff plays at 5 p.m. to close out the fest.
Local associations and clubs provide food specialties and beverages.
