Tech. Sgt. Kevin Kline, 435th Construction and Training Squadron craftsman, attempts to gain position advantage during a combatives tournament Sept. 7 at the Kleber Fitness Center on Kleber Kaserne in Kaiserslautern. The competition was for all military members and tested the strength and skills of both male and female competitors. Trophies were awarded to 14 first- and second-place winners from different weight classes. Among the winners were four Airmen, two from Ramstein and the others from Kaiserslautern. The overall champion who claimed the ultimate prize of bragging rights was Prince Brown from Baumholder, who went undefeated in all of his matches.
