» Ramstein Outdoor Recreation wants to show appreciation to their loyal customers with a Customer Appreciation Sale today and Saturday. The event includes up to 50 percent off the entire store, lots of vendors with a variety of new products, activities for children of all ages and free bike maintenance from skilled bike technicians.
» Holy Family Catholic Community picnic will take place Sunday at Pulaski Park. The event will begin with Mass at
10 a.m. The 9 a.m. Mass at Ramstein North Chapel will not be held that day. Food and games will be offered after mass at the picnic. » Armed Forces Entertainment brings a special performance to Armstrong’s Club from 1 to 5 p.m. Sept. 6. Country singer Ayla Brown joins together with Hope for the Day, an organization whose vision is to bring communities together in order to shed light on the unfortunate topics of depression and suicide. Using music as a highway to the heart, the tour aims to reduce suicide rates while inspiring and empowering those who need help to get help. » The Kaiserslautern-West Pfalz Ski Club will hold its annual free pizza party from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Sept. 7 at the Paradox Bistrorante in Ramstein village. Classes and Training
» German cooking class sponsored by the German-American and International Womens’ Club Kaiserslautern will take place at 4:30 p.m. Sept. 2 at Adam-Mueller-Schule, Raiffeisenstrasse 4 in 66892 Bruchmuehlbach-Miesau. Anybody interested in learning how to prepare rouladen or sauerbraten will be taught by the club’s best German cooks. The cost of the class is only the expense of the meal divided by participants.
