Heroes, horses, hounds
Come learn about equine therapy and how service dogs support our military service members. This free retreat, presented by the TBI Clinic at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center and Wounded Warrior Project, will be from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Rothenberghof in Kaiserslautern. School registration
Ramstein schools are looking for volunteers to assist with the school year 2017/2018 re-registration activity Monday to March 24 at the Kaiserslautern Military Community Center food court on Ramstein. A maximum of four individuals per shift will be needed. Volunteers will perform a customer service function helping parents locate student registration forms and directing them to the appropriate school officials. To lock in a time slot, email Terence.delay@eu.dodea.edu with your preference. Military or civilian dress is acceptable.
Health symposium
In support of Brain Injury Awareness Month, the Landstuhl Regional Medical Center Brain Injury Clinic will sponsor a Warrior Brain Health Symposium for KMC officers and enlisted leaders from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the LRMC Learning Center, Bldg. 3718, room 108. The symposium is to promote education of traumatic brain injuries within the military community aimed at enhancing unit and mission effectiveness. Program for military spouses
The FINRA Foundation Military Spouse Fellowship program is now accepting applications for the 2017 class. Applications are accepted online at www.militaryspouseafcpe.org through April 21. The fellowship program certifies military spouses to provide financial counseling and education within the military community and beyond. The FINRA Foundation covers the costs of the program coursework and testing for the self-study program. Upon successful completion of the program, FINRA Foundation fellows are awarded the Accredited Financial Counselor certification from The Association for Financial Counseling and Planning Education. The program helps military spouses achieve career goals and aspirations and enhance job-related marketability, all while developing personal financial management skills.

New parking passes
Kaiserslautern established new parking zones. Residents with parking passes need to go to the Buergercenter in the Rathaus — city hall — to get a new parking pass for their area. The exchange of passes is free. For details, call 0631-365-2538.
