AGOW change of command
The 435th Air Ground Operations wing will have a change of command ceremony at 11 a.m. Monday at Hangar 3 on Ramstein. Col. Michael Rawls will assume command from Col. Andra Kniep.
Logo design contest
The 86th Airlift Wing Innovation Transformation Office is looking for a new logo for the wing innovation program. The newly designed logo should make Airmen instantly think of new ideas and innovations and all things related to process improvement. The contest will run through Aug. 10. Change of command
The U.S. Army Public Health Command-Europe in Landstuhl will have a change of command ceremony at 10:30 a.m. July 31 outside of Bldg. 3809. Col. Rebecca I. Porter will assume command from Col. Steven T. Greiner. In case of inclement weather the ceremony will be held at the Landstuhl gymnasium.

ASIST training
Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training will be offered 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 10 and 11 at the Ramstein High School, Bldg. 900. ASIST is for everyone 16 years old and up, who wants to be able to provide suicide first aid, regardless of prior experience. Shown by major studies to significantly reduce suicidality, the ASIST model teaches effective intervention skills while helping to build suicide prevention networks in the community. Space is limited.
Benefit cards for service members
Through Aug. 9, service members can present their orders to the Kaiserlautern Military Community Center Exchange customer service desk and receive an Operation PCS Benefit Card. The card entitles service members to 5 percent off qualifying purchases of $100 or more when they use their MILITARY STAR card in Exchange stores or at www.shopmyexchange.com. Benefit cards are valid for 90 days from issuance date. To apply for a MILITARY STAR card, authorized shoppers can visit www.MyECP.com.
No biking in park
Kaiserslautern city officials remind bicyclists not to ride their bikes through Stadtpark in Kaiserslautern. The park in Pirmasenser Strasse is a place to relax, especially for senior citizens, who are limited in their mobility and do not feel safe when fast bikers pass them.
