Green Dot training
Have you taken your annual Green Dot training? If not, it is not too late to sign up. This annual training increases awareness and prevention of interpersonal violence, to include sexual assault, domestic and inter-personal violence, and suicide. We are providing additional training opportunities in order to spread the Green Dot creed and culture to the entire community. This year, you have two choices for your training. If you completed the Green Dot training last year, you only need to take the Green Dot Refresher training, about 1 hour. If you have never taken the Green Dot training, you need to take the Green Dot Initial training, about 1.5 hours. Civilian attire is authorized. The 86th Airlift Wing Violence Prevention Integrators want all active-duty Air Force members and full-time Air Force civilians and non-appropriated funds employees to get this important training completed sooner rather than later. Sign up for your training now at the AF Green Dot SharePoint site or call the Violence Prevention Integrators at 480-1422. No one has to do everything, but everyone has to do something.
Meter readings start
Employees of Stadtwerke Ramstein-Miesenbach GmbH, the city works in charge of electricity, gas and water, will start reading meters in their supply area as follows:
Reading period: Today to Nov. 25
in Kottweiler-Schwanden, Spesbach, Katzenbach (also gas meters on behalf of Stadtwerke Kaiserslautern), Steinwenden, Weltersbach, Obermohr, Reuschbach
Reading period: Nov. 25 to Dec. 18
in Huetschenhausen, Niedermohr, Schrollbach, Ramstein-Miesenbach
All meter readers will have an identification badge.
If meter readers are unable to reach customers at home, they will leave a message. Those customers are asked to read the meters themselves and report the readings to Stadtwerke as soon as possible. Customers of Stadtwerke Ramstein-Miesenbach can transfer their meter readings to the customer portal on www.stadtwerke-ramstein.de or use the form they received, fill in their customer information and drop it in the mail box next to the Stadtwerke entrance — Am Neuen Markt 8, Ramstein-Miesenbach — or fax it to 06371-592-303.
If customers don’t notifyStadtwerke, their consumption will be estimated. Officials ask customers to remove all objects in front of the meters to make the reading as easy as possible.
