SKIESUnlimited: Babysitter Training
SKIESUnlimited offers Babysitter Training on a regular basis. This training includes 4H approved training material, Red Cross CPR/First Aid certification, hands-on experience and CYS Babysitter Referral Service. Open to Grades 6 to12; ages 11 to 18. SKIESUnlimited: Drum Workshop
SKIESUnlimited now offers drum lessons for children ages 4+. Fees are 30 min session $20, 45min session $25, 60 min session $30. Register through Webtrac or Parent Central Services. SKIESUnlimited: Voice Lessons
Children ages 8 to 18 can now learn how to develop a strong, healthy singing voice with SKIESUnlimited Voice Lessons. Private lessons are offered on Pulaski Barracks, Bldg. 2901 and Landstuhl, Bldg. 3819. Participants will be trained on breath control, music theory and vocal techniques. SKIESUnlimited: Knitting Classes
Children ages 9+ are invited to learn the craft of knitting! Children may take classes solo or accompanied by parents. Classes are progressive from beginner to easy, intermediate, and experienced. Learn various stitches, how to read a pattern, binding, seaming, fun historical facts about knitting, and so much more! Classes are offered monthly. All knitting supplies will be provided. Students only need to show up with their desire to learn. Our instructor has 15 years’ experience in the fiber arts and is a certified knitting instructor through the Craft Yarn Council. SKIESUnlimited: Engineering Classes
Children ages 4+ will be introduced to the fundamentals of engineering. Students will have an opportunity to build electrical engines, working draw-bridges, fully functioning cranes and basic gear boxes. Students will also be introduced to engineering concepts using pneumatic principles and equipment. All of this is done using the registered brand of Fischertechnik materials. Worksheets will be handed out so that children can expand their understanding of learned concepts outside of the classroom.
