Scuba Certification Course

Want to get away from daily stresses and connect with nature? Want to test the boundaries of “where man is supposed to be”? Want to drift in the underwater and leave all your cares and worries on the shore? Then SCUBA is your answer! All of these things can be accomplished while drifting serenely through the water where the only sound you will hear is your own breathing. Open water divers course consists of 3 modules: Online training (including digital training kit), confined open water sessions, open water sessions. Upon completion of the course the students will receive: C-Card Open Water Diver Divers log Book. Cost: $479- Price reduction available for those that have taken the Intro to Scuba.

Amsterdam Express

Skydiving
May 27 & June 9, 30
Get the thrill of a lifetime when you go tandem skydiving with Kaiserslautern Outdoor Recreation. After approximately 20 minutes of ground training, you and your jumpmaster will board the aircraft and ascend to an altitude of approximately 13000 feet. Safely connected to your jumpmaster and ready to take the plunge, you will exit the airplane and freefall almost 8000 feet at speeds approaching 200 miles per hour, before your tandem jumpmaster opens the parachute. After the chute is opened, you will float gently to earth over a period of about 5 minutes. Cost: $279 per person

Paris Weekend

Use the long weekend to your advantage and climb to the top of the Eiffel tower, view the Mona Lisa at the Lourve, visit Versailles, ring the bells of Notre Dame, take the train to Disneyland Paris, visit Jim Morrison’s Grave or dive into the darker side of Paris on one of the world famous sewer tours. 3 overnights will allow for plenty of time to experience the Moulin Rouge and the rest of Paris’s famous evening entertainment. Trout Fishing

While there are a wide variety of places to fish in Germany, we have chosen this one because it’s close, family friendly, and offers the possibility of catching 10-pound fish! And don’t worry about getting skunked, our certified fishing instructor is just waiting to provide as many tips and tricks as it takes to catch as many of them as possible. Swiss Alps Adventure: Hut Hiking and Climbing

Spring blooms a bit later in the high mountains, but thanks to special arrangements with the mountain hut warden we have a unique opportunity to spend multiple nights in the high Swiss Alpine Club “Bergseehutte” before it opens to the general public! This hut is supplied exclusively by helicopter and on this special trip we’ll have the unique opportunity to watch the summer’s supplies get delivered by chopper. Days will be spent hiking, rock climbing (optional) and completing the famous “Crocodile” via ferrata above the hut. Inquire at ODR for more details about this exciting weekend in the mountains and more information about Switzerland’s mountain huts. Cost: $319, Ages: 14+ (note: communal lodging)
