Labor Day Fishing Weekend

This special fishing trip will delight all anglers looking for a challenge at a beautiful and scenic new destination, and offers the chance to go fly or spinning-reel fishing. Based out of comfortable apartments in the village of Galtür, you will spend the weekend fishing in your choice of multiple fishing sites, including a private lake, several ponds and 2 private mountain streams, reserved solely for fly fisherman. Here, between 1500 and 2000 meters above sea level, you will cast your lure into some of the cleanest waters in Austria by day, and enjoy Tirolean hospitality by night. A tourist fishing license is included, transportation between the fishing sites is available, and your daily catch will be cooked for you by our friendly hosts, or frozen for return to Baumholder.
Scuba Certification Course

Want to drift in the underwater and leave all your cares and worries on the shore? Then SCUBA is your answer! All of these things can be accomplished while drifting serenely through the water where the only sound you will hear is your own breathing. Join Baumholder ODR for SSI Open Water Divers certification course. Open water divers course consists of 3 modules: Online training (including digital training kit) Confined open water sessions open water sessions. Upon completion of the course the students will receive: C-Card Open Water Diver Divers log Book.

The Costa del Maresme region offers tons of activities, ranging from snorkeling and scuba diving to sea kayaking, or just laying on the beach, and the long weekend will give you enough time to participate in all of them! You can even jump in a bouncy castle while it is being towed behind a speedboat! Once the sun sets, there is plenty of party going on in Santa Susanna where you have your choice of countless bars, restaurants, and discos. A day trip to Barcelona is also included, where you can visit the famous cathedral La Sagrada Familia or the Museo de Picasso.

Roth Horse Ranch

Giddy up and get your boots on! It’s time for a family oriented trail ride through the hills, farmland and forests around the Roth Horse Ranch! Half of the group will ride while the other half walk alongside the horses. In the middle of the ride, walkers and riders will switch positions. Long pants and closed-toe shoes mandatory. We suggest bringing provisions for a picnic lunch to enjoy a relaxing afternoon out in nature with family. No food is available at the ranch.
Swiss Alps Adventure: Hut Hiking and Climbing

High summer spent hiking, climbing, and on via ferrata in the Swiss Alps will be an unforgettable experience! A steep 2 mile ascent (2000 vertical feet gained) takes us to our mountain hut accommodation, the Bergseehuette, to enjoy the sweeping glacial views and the alpine lake next to the hut! Days will be spent hiking, rock climbing (optional) and completing the famous “Crocodile” via ferrata above the hut (optional).
