KHS student selected as DoDEA delegate

The United States Senate Youth Program has selected Michael Ross Boone as its No. 1 Department of Defense Education Activity delegate.

Michael is a senior at Kaiserslautern High School. Applications, tests and videotaped interviews of the candidates were submitted by Department of Defense Schools Europe districts and evaluated by panel reviewers – the Area Social Studies Specialists and DoDEA Headquarters personnel.

Michael will attend Washington Week from March 1 to 8 and will also be receiving
a $5,000 college scholarship.
