Soldiers of 16th Sustainment Participate in Denim Day

Recently the Knights of the 16th Sustainment Brigade took a stand to put an end to sexual harassment and sexual assault by participating in Denim Day. Denim Day is an event in which people are encouraged to wear jeans or denim to raise awareness of rape and sexual assault. Stemming back to unfavorable Italian Supreme Court case which was overturned and dismissed – women in the Italian Parliament launched into immediate action and protested by wearing jeans to work. This started the annual trend to wear denim or jeans in support of fighting sexual assault and sexual harassment.
