Bus area closed
The bus marshalling area for Landstuhl Elementary/Middle School on 11th Street is closed to traffic from 2:45 to 3:10 p.m. daily. Remember, it is the law not to pass school buses while loading and unloading children.
CYS sitter class
Become a certified baby sitter through CYS Services and SKIESUnlimited. This two day course is open to youth 13 to 18 years old and will offer Red Cross CPR/First Aid certification and 4-H baby sitter certification.
Classes will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Wednesday. Pre-registration is required.

School physicals
The U.S. Army Health Clinic-Kaiserslautern on Kleber Kaserne will provide sport and school physicals from 7 a.m. to noon Thursday for empanelled patients.
To make an appointment, call the Kaisers-lautern Health Clinic at 0631-411-1750 or 483-1750. To ensure medical records are accurate, bring a copy of immunization records.
Teacher Certification Examination
U.S. Army Garrison Kaiserslautern hosts the PRAXIS Teacher Certification Examination at 8 a.m. July 29 at the garrison’s education center on Rhine Ordnance Barracks. Deadline to register is Tuesday.

Teens on the Go
Teens entering seventh through 12th grade can participate in field trips several times a week from today to Aug. 28 for just $45 per week. The cost includes transportation and admission. Ultimate Summer Program
This free program is open to youth and teens entering seventh through 12th grade. The program takes place from 1 to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday from June to August.
