The first phase of openings at the KMCC is in full swing. All 435th Services Squadron facilities – Romano’s Macaroni Grill, Ramstein Tickets and Tours, Outdoor Recreation, and The Ramstein Sports Lounge – will be open for an open house today. Patrons are invited to take advantage of special promotions and enter giveaways at each of the venues. The Shoppette and Wasgau German bakery are also now open for business.
Also, the “Window to Rheinland-Pfalz Ramstein Gateway” information center will formally open Thursday at 4 p.m. and will offer information about the unique off-base activities and programs available within the greater community.
Located on the main floor near RTT and the Shoppette, the center will be staffed by employees from the local cooperative – consisting of the state government, the City and County of Kaiserslautern and the City of Ramstein-Miesenbach.
