Military Family Housing Self-Help Stores

Now that summer is here, the KMC Housing Office would like to help you to take care of your apartment/town house as well as your yards. Tools to maintain the yards, high-pressure cleaner, hedge clipper etc., can be borrowed on a 24-hour basis.

Below is a small selection of the 100 + items that can be found in the MFH Self-Help Stores at Ramstein and Vogelweh.

OUTDOOR:

• Grass seed
• Lawn fertilizer
• Rakes
• Mouse traps

INDOOR:

• Child safety outlet protectors
• Stove top protection (child safety)
• All-purpose safety latch
• Door alarm
• Curtain hangers
• Baking trays
• Shower hose/shower head
• Light bulbs
• Picture hooks

HOURS OF OPERATION:

Mon-Fri: 8 a.m.-6 p.m., Sat: 8 a.m.-4 p.m.

Closed on German/American Holidays

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: Who is authorized to use the Self-Help Store?

A: Any military family housing residents living in Ramstein, Landstuhl or Vogelweh housing areas.

Q: Will I have to pay for the materials that I receive from the Self-Help Store?

A: No. There are no charges to you or your family members for self-help/loaner items.
