Service Culture Spotlight: Matthew Judy

U.S. Army Garrison Rheinland-Pfalz highlights Matthew Judy for Service Culture Spotlight!

Calling Port Charlotte, Florida, his hometown, Matthew serves as a cook for Landstuhl Child Development One.

His primary duties include cooking breakfast, lunch and snacks for the Child and Youth Services children. Matthew also maintains cleanliness standards in the kitchen. He washes dishes daily after mealtimes. In addition, Matthew orders food and supplies from vendors.

Matthew has been working for the garrison for 3 and a half years and has been in the civil service for 5 and a half years.

“I really enjoy seeing the happy kids at the facility every day. I love when the kids tell me they enjoyed the meals I’ve prepared. It is a great job to experience all the children growing up before your eyes. Getting to know the parents and the children really make me feel a connection to my job and the community.”
