OTS information, application deadlines
Air Force members who have already obtained their bachelor’s degree or are within one year of completing their degree can apply for a commission through Officer Training School. Any member interested in submitting a package must first see an Air Force education counselor or attend the monthly commissioning briefing given at the Education Center. New STAP, MyCAA requirements
Effective immediately for Term III 2009-2010 registration, Air staff and Air Force Aid Society has published new Spouse Tuition Assistance Program requirements. AFAS will provide STAP to those spouses who have been denied Military Spouse Career Advancement Accounts, have exhausted their MyCAA funds or are taking courses not eligible under MyCAA. Applicants must provide proof of eligibility with their STAP application (i.e., letter or ineligibility from MyCAA, enrollment summary showing funding status, etc.). Students are responsible for notifying the STAP administrator of any changes in funding. Apply for the MyCAA program online at www.militaryonesource.com.
