Operation Deny Flight took place on Feb. 28, 1994, over Bosnia. Two Ramstein Air Base F-16s deployed to Aviano Air Base, Italy, shot down four Serb Jastrebe-Galeb attack aircraft over Bosnia, which was the first combat in NATO history.
