***image1***With Spring in full bloom, the days getting longer and the increase in outdoor activities, many of us find ourselves enjoying the sunshine and fresh air more and more. Of course, with an increase of people on our sports fields, playgrounds, and in other community areas, it’s going to take more effort keeping the KMC looking nice.
This past weekend, one of our local Girl Scout groups spent some time cleaning up Donnelly Park – the direct result of its already-increased use. We applaud this kind of dedicated community involvement and thank the Girl Scouts for their great support.
We’d also like to remind everyone in the KMC — whether you live on base, are visiting our community, are just transiting or maybe live in one of the off-base neighborhoods — we need everyone’s help keeping our installations in top shape.
We’re counting on all of you to keep our streets, sidewalks, parks and playgrounds looking great … it’s where we live, work and play. We are all partners in this endeavor, especially parents and coaches and young folks.
Thanks again to the Girl Scouts, and those of you who do your part for base appearance everyday, for ensuring our neighborhoods are clean and safe. Keep up those Combat Proud habits and enjoy your time outdoors!

Kudos to KMC
“This base has never looked better!”

“I would like to commend you for the outstanding appearance and cleanliness of your base in Ramstein.
Last month, my family and I spent a week on and off the base. Our son, Airman 1st Class Tim Woods, has been stationed there since August.
I am an Army infantry veteran and would be proud to call Ramstein my home away from home.”
