“It’s a Bible-based program filled with fun through biblical skits, singing, games, crafts and memory verses,” said Carol Show, U.S. Army Garrison Kaiserslautern Daenner Chapel religious education coordinator. “It has a lot of action.”

***image2***The program has been apart of Sunday schools in the states for about 20 years with a themed curriculum. This year’s theme is “Exploring The Universe Through God’s Promises.”

Mrs. Show introduced the Adventure Club Nov. 1 to about 15 children, ages 4 to 12, at Daenner Chapel. Adventure Club meets 10 a.m. to noon Sunday at the Daenner Chapel, Bldg. 3150 on Daenner Kaserne.

“I like it,” said Krista Simmons, 8. “You can play or draw something and learn about God.”

***image3***The two-hour club uses a point system as encouragement for children to learn Bible verses, attend, bring their Bibles and finish their worksheets. Mrs. Show said these points are listed in the children’s passports and will be used as “money” when the club has its first store filled with prizes next month.
