The Ramstein Airman & Family Readiness Center hosted an Open House from 1 to 3 p.m. Nov. 25. More than 100 visitors came to see the new and exciting changes that have taken place.
The newly-designed and spacious reception area provides a warm and friendly atmosphere for customers to enjoy. The A&FRC has established what is called a “Discovery Resource Center” for customers to access the Internet, conduct job
searches, work on their résumés or check their e-mail accounts. For the
convenience of relocating families, the Loan Locker is now located within the A&FRC.
Guests participated in a guided tour of the facility and were quickly captivated by the fun-filled activities including “Name that Staff Member,” and “A&FRC Services BINGO.” The prizes included $25 gift certificates for USO tours and movie passes; a
digital camera was the grand prize.
Children took part in a special art project activity with the finished drawings being donated to Project Rudolph 2008 to be included in care packages for deployed servicemembers.
This was a memorable and rewarding event for the A&FRC staff and we extend a heartfelt “thank you” to Team Ramstein for your support.
