Troops to School
***image1***Lemar Barbosa, Mohammad Alshaer, Emma Bowser and Aaron West work with Sgt. Durbin to dissect an owl pellet. Ramstein Elementary School second-graders in Mrs. Maxey’s and Ms. Luckie’s classes enjoyed an inquiry-based science lesson about the food chain with visiting troops. Once a month, in a program called Troops to School, recuperating Soldiers, Marines, Airmen and Sailors come to RES to help second-graders and to soak up some of the enthusiasm of youth.
