A C-130J Super Hercules banks left over Ramstein Aug. 29. The C-130J Super Hercules primarily performs the tactical portion of the airlift mission, fulfilling a wide range of operational missions in both peace and war situations.

Airmen visit 721st APS
Tech. Sgt. Matthew Foster, 87th Aerial Port Squadron air transportation specialist from Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, unloads a tractor from an aircraft Aug. 12 on Ramstein. A group of Airmen from Wright Patterson were TDY here for two weeks to gain more knowledge of the processes Ramstein uses to unload aircraft.

Water for firefighters
Airman 1st Class Robert Schiffer, 86th Civil Engineer Squadron firefighter, fills up a pool of water that’s used to fill up a fire truck Aug. 28 on Ramstein. Hundreds of gallons of water are used to fill up the fire trucks.

First day of school
Staff Sgt. Service members from around the KMC dropped their children off for their first day of school.
