Article 15 Actions – June 2006

DUI: A technical sergeant was charged with physically controlling a vehicle while drunk, in violation of Article 111 of the UCMJ.  Punishment consisted of reduction to the grade of staff sergeant and a reprimand.

DUI: A staff sergeant was charged with physically controlling a vehicle while drunk, in violation of Article 111 of the UCMJ. Punishment consisted of reduction to the grade of senior airman and a reprimand.

DUI: A senior airman was charged with physically controlling a vehicle while drunk, in violation of Article 111 of the UCMJ. Punishment consisted of reduction to the grade of airman 1st class, a suspended reduction to the grade of airman, 30 days correctional custody and a reprimand.

FAILURE TO GO and FALSE OFFICIAL STATEMENT: A senior airman was charged with failing to go to the appointed place of duty at the time prescribed and signing a false official statement, in violation of Articles 86 and 107 of the UCMJ.  Punishment consisted of a suspended reduction to the grade of airman 1st class and 30 days correctional custody.

AWOL: A senior airman was charged with being absent without leave (less than three days), in violation of Article 86 of the UCMJ.  Punishment consisted of a reduction to the grade of airman 1st class, 25 days extra duty and a reprimand.

DUI: A senior airman was charged with physically controlling a vehicle while drunk, in violation of Article 111 of the UCMJ. Punishment consisted of a reduction to the grade of airman 1st class, a suspended forfeiture of $500 pay per month for two months and 14 days extra duty.

DERELICTION OF DUTY and FALSE OFFICIAL STATEMENT: A technical sergeant was charged with misusing a government travel card and falsely stating that the card was swiped incorrectly, in violation of Articles 92 and 107 of the UCMJ. Punishment consisted of a suspended reduction to the
grade of staff sergeant.

DUI: A senior airman was charged with physically controlling a vehicle while drunk, in violation of Article 111 of the UCMJ. Punishment consisted of a reduction to the grade of airman 1st class, a suspended forfeiture of $200 pay per month for two months and 30 days correctional custody.

DERELICTION OF DUTY: An airman was charged with failing to refrain from disclosing the contents of personal e-mails viewed during the course of operational security monitoring, in violation of Article 92 of the UCMJ. Punishment consisted of a reduction to the grade of airman basic and 15 days extra duty.

ASSAULT, INCAPACITATED FOR THE PERFORMANCE OF DUTIES, DRUNK AND DISORDERLY: A 1st lieutenant was charged with one specification of Article 128 and two specifications of Article 134 of the UCMJ. The member assaulted an individual while intoxicated.  Punishment consisted of a forfeiture of $1,000 pay per month for two months and a reprimand.

ASSAULT CONSUMMATED BY BATTERY: A senior airman was charged with
pushing his spouse, in violation of Article 128 of the UCMJ.  Punishment consisted of a suspended reduction to airman 1st class, 30 days extra duty and a reprimand.

DUI: An airman 1st class was charged with physically controlling a vehicle while drunk, in violation of Article 111 of the UCMJ.  Punishment consisted of reduction to the grade of airman, restriction to the limits of Ramstein Air Base for 20 days, 10 days extra duty and a reprimand.

FALSE OFFICIAL STATEMENT:  A senior airman was charged with making a false official statement, in violation of Article 107 of the UCMJ.  Punishment consisted of a suspended reduction to the grade of airman 1st class, forfeiture of $151 pay per month for two months, 14 days extra duty and a reprimand.

DUI: A senior airman was charged with physically controlling a vehicle while drunk, in violation of Article 111 of the UCMJ.  Punishment consisted of a reduction to the grade of airman, a suspended reduction to the grade of airman basic, forfeiture of $250 pay per month for two months, restriction to the limits of Ramstein Air Base for 45 days, 45 days extra duty and a reprimand.

DUI: An airman 1st class was charged with physically controlling a vehicle while drunk, in violation of Article 111 of the UCMJ. Punishment consisted of reduction to the grade of airman, a suspended forfeiture of $168 pay per month for two months, 30 days extra duty and a reprimand.
