The 21st annual creative exhibition will take place Saturday and Sunday at the Ramstein-Miesenbach culture and convention center, Haus des Buergers.
“Like in recent years, we again are able to present a wide range of creativity,” said organizer Marita Altherr. “A total of 76 hobby artists and crafters will show off their creative works.”
Visitors will have the chance to admire and buy items made using different techniques.
“Crafters work on their stands and show visitors how they create their products and what techniques they are using,” Altherr said. “For example, one artist from Brazil creates light objects made of vent pipes, and another one makes metal objects with horseshoe nails.”
Artists will show off a miniature fairy tale world and paint funny caricatures. Visitors will be able to admire jewelry, wooden items and ceramics.
Also on display will be hats, scarfs, floristic items, nativity scenes and various soap creations.
A local sewing machine store will show how to sew creative items in a short time, and a handicrafts shop will present ideas for fall and Christmas.
“Hungry and thirsty visitors can take breaks in the cafeteria and taste fresh cinnamon waffles and a big variety of homemade cakes,” Altherr said.
Like in previous years, there will be a raffle. All proceeds will go to the Ramstein-Miesenbach Hospice Aid.
Opening hours are 1 to 6 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. Admission is free.
