***image1***People rely heavily on automobiles to get where they need to go, whether to work, to the kids’ soccer match or on vacation.
With three locations, Ramstein, Kapaun and Sembach, 435th Services Auto Skills centers provide specialty services at convenient times and locations to keep cars clean and in sound repair. All three centers are equipped to assist customers with their mechanic services, technicians, parts stores, self-help stalls and knowledgeable customer service employees.
The Ramstein Auto Skills Center features a “recently renovated building offering one-stop shopping,” said Robert Rayborn, Ramstein Auto Skills manager. If car owners need mechanic services to change brakes, oil or tires, or even steam clean – they’ve got it covered.
“We have an extensive parts store and stock basic items as well,” said Rayborn. “We order from local distributors for next-day service, and we also have constant shipments from the States as well.”
Exclusively at Ramstein is the automatic and self-help car wash. The auto detailing services at Sembach Auto Skills Center are especially helpful for preparing a car for a permanent change of station back to the States.
While visiting the Sembach Auto Skills Center, ask about their service for engine repairs and replacement in addition to minor tune-ups and a plethora of other services.
Manager Vic Waters is proud of his facility and services, “We offer very friendly service with great quality.”
The Kapaun Auto Skills Center, recently added new services and expanded their hours. They offer “a state-of-the-art, four-wheel alignment machine to align cars, vans and light trucks,” said Kapaun Auto Recycling Center Manager David Sorenson.
In addition, a certified Master Automotive Service Excellence mechanic is available by appointment for almost any car repair needs.
Specific to Kapaun Auto Skills is the skilled exhaust specialist on staff who can “make just about any custom exhaust system that you desire,” said Sorenson.
All three skills centers and the Auto Recycling Center, located near Ramstein, can assist with your towing needs. Vehicles may be towed anywhere in the KMC for a preset fee. The towing staff is busy, so customers should call ahead for a planned tow.
