***image1***Federal Transportation Minister, Dr. Manfred Stolpe, is requesting that all motorists now drive with their headlights on even during the day. Just like in the neighboring countries of France and Austria where this is currently being tested, Germany should also institute a voluntary period of time to follow this rule that would eventually become a permanent law. The minister also reminded that there is already a requirement for driving with headlights on at night and the onset of dawn, dusk and periods of limited visibility.
