Students in Mrs. Lindsay Pierce’s third grade class at Land-stuhl Elementary School are spending the month of Febru-ary researching a figure that is known for making a difference in the African American community.They are conducting Black History Month research by doing life-size biographies.

Lillian Walker researched Madam C.J. Walker. Through her research project Lillian was able to learn all about how Walker positively changed hair care for African American Women.
