Bloodhound Education from the UK visited Kaiserslautern Elementary School on March 15, teaching students about Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. Students spent the day working as teams to tackle a design challenge to build the fastest air-powered car that could travel 10 meters.  This is the same type of challenge that the engineer from Bloodhound SSC has been working on for the past 7 years to build the world’s fastest land vehicle. Security Police personnel from the 569th U.S. Forces Police Squadron also supported the project.
