thousands of miles between him and his family, there was no way he would
make it in time.
This was the reality Tech. Sgt. Thomas Galetto faced after finding out
his first-born child required an emergency operation just days after a
premature birth.

Vilseck Army Health Clinic and Ramstein Clinic visited historic medical
sites in Istanbul and Western Turkey to enrich their understanding of
hospitals and nursing through the past 2,000 years. Lois Borsay, from
LRMC, arranged the tour, which was booked by RTT Ramstein and Baritli
Travel in Istanbul.

On June 10, 1944, the U.S. Army Air Force launched what it hoped would
be a surprise attack on the Ploiesti oil refineries in Romania. The low
level attack was carried out by 36 Lockheed P-38 Lighting fighters of
the 82nd Fighter Group, each carrying a single 1,000 pound bomb,
escorted by 39 P-38 Lightings of the 1st and 82nd FGs.

Tobacco smoke has added a new potential danger to its list of hazards: third-hand smoke.
Most people know that first-hand smoke is inhaled directly by a smoker,
and second-hand smoke is the smoke passively breathed in by people near
someone smoking.
