Maintenance Group prepares for ORI
Sept. 10 marked the last of the 86th Maintenance Group
Civilian contractors from DynCorp International began replacing a C-21 aircraft engine Sept. 10 on Ramstein.
As World War II approached, the British Fleet Air Arm, the poor
stepchild of the independent Royal Air Force, was desperate for a
modern fighter to replace its old biplanes. The Royal Navy turned to
the Fairey Aviation Company Ltd. for such a fighter and the company
submitted what was essentially a fighter version of its Battle light
bomber.

Airmen stationed around the world are generally familiar with the
capabilities of an airlift squadron, but the 76th Airlift Squadron here
has a mission slightly different than normal.
The Patient Advisory Council-Kleber (PAC-K) represents the interests of
U.S. Army Health Clinic-Kleber (USAHC-K), which is composed of active
duty Soldiers, family members, spouses, retirees, civilians and clinic
liaisons.
Construction team members and fire trainers came together Sept. 9 here
to view a new aircraft fire training simulator that will enhance future
firefighter training for not only Air Force, but also host nation

The Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress, was, by any measure, one of the

Great Britain in March 1941, the Fortresses, the latest US strategic
bomber, were at the top of the RAF
Army Capt. Laura Stanley was in Iraq in May 2003 for Operation Iraqi
Freedom. After sustaining injuries in a vehicle rollover, Captain
Stanley was flown to the U.S. While she was recovering from her
injuries, she received a blanket from the Project Linus Foundation.
