The 86th Airlift Wing hosted events in honor of POW/MIA Remembrance Week, Sep. 11-15. The events included a remembrance week breakfast, a 24-hour ruck march, and a memorial retreat ceremony. Operation Market Garden was conducted by Allied powers during World War II from Sept. 17-27, 1994 in order to open a liberation route into northern Germany and it was split into two phases.
